Annual Day Celebration.

Besant English School celebrated its Annual  day on 12-12-2017. Sri. S.P. Chengappa , Advocate and Ex-President, Mangalore Bar - Association, Ex Member of Senate and Syndicate,  Mangalore University was the Chief Guest. He addressed the audience saying that children should start their etiquette right from their childhood and it has to start  in their homes itself. Most of the children are eating junk food which will lead to their health problems and later it will lead to bad food habits.

The President of our Annual Day was Sri. Manel Annappa Nayak, in his presidential speech, he appreciated the work of the students and the motivation given by the teachers. He wished that the school will do better in the forthcoming years. Smt. Shanthi Lobo Headmistress, our old student Prashanth Nayak  who proposed the school toast and our School Pupil Leader, Vignesh B.S. were present on the dais . Sri. Shyamsundar Kamath, Secretary of Womens National Education Society, Sri. K. Devanand Pai,  Asst. Secretary of Women’s National Education Society and correspondent of Besant Women’s College, Sri. Suresh Mallya, correspondent of Besant National Education Society, Sri. Nagar Narayan Shenoy, Correspondent of Besant Evening College, Smt. Lalitha Mallya, Academic Advisor, Dr. Manjula K.T. member of the management,  Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C., President of Parent Teacher Association, Sri. Devi Prasad Shetty, Vice President of Parent Teacher Association, the Heads of various Besant Institutions, other invities were present.

The programme commenced with the welcome speech by our correspondent , Sri. Sathish Kumar Bhat . The programme was followed by various cultural programmes like, skit, song, dances and  yoga. Pawan Kumar and Medha of X STD  were the formal M.C’s. Shravya of X STD and Kaaya of IX STD were cultural M.C’s. Raheeda of X STD proposed a vote of Thanks.
