On October 2nd, 2019 we celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in our school. Guest was Smt. Chandhrika Headmistress of the Besant National High School, She spoke on the importance of peace and discipline in students life with some incidents of Mahatma Gandhi.
The correspondent Sri Sathish Kumar Bhat, The secretory of WNES and correspondent of Besant Women’s College Sri K Devananda Pai, the Management member Sri Ganesh Krishna Bhat, the P.T.A President Sri Ramakrishna Bhaskar, Headmistress Smt. Shanthi Lobo, the teaching staff and students were present.
Suresh of 7th Std was the M.C of the programme, Tanisha of 6th Std welcomed the guest and audience.Vaishnavi of 7th Std spoke about biography of Gandhi. Tanvi c Mallya of 2nd Std thanked everyone. The programme was followed by a short cultural programme.
On this day an activity of Swachatha andholan was organized in our school for our students.
