World Environment Day 2026-27

World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5th at Besant English Medium School with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a prayer, creating a positive and peaceful atmosphere. Ishani spoke about the importance of the environment and highlighted the need to protect it for a better future. Teacher Jayanti explained how environmental pollution can be prevented. She also spoke about the close relationship between a healthy environment and a healthy life. The dignitaries present on the dais included the School Correspondent, Mr. Arjun Nayak, Headmistress Smt. Laveena Albert, and Assistant Headmaster Mr. Ratnakar Rao. The programme was warmly welcomed by Drithi  a student of 10th  std   . The event was efficiently compered by Vaishnavi  a student of 10th  std  , and the vote of thanks was delivered by Sanvi Mallya  a student of 10th  std  . The celebration created awareness among students about the importance of protecting the environment and encouraged them to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
