Annual Day 2023-24

The annual day function of Besant English Medium School was celebrated on December 8, 2023, with tremendous enthusiasm. The event began with prayer. Dr. Manel Arjun Nayak, the convenor of the school, greeted everyone. Headmaster Shanti Lobo presented the school report. As the chief guest, Shivani R. Baliga arrived, gave out prizes, and addressed the graduating class. Reflecting on his time as a college student, he recalled the support he had from his instructors and shared the butterfly story as proof that you can accomplish anything if you work hard at all levels. The Women's National Education Society president, Manel Annappa Naik, made a suggestion during her speech to prioritise learning above using a phone when needed. Heads of the educational institutions, and Executive Board members were present on this occasion. The cultural programme was followed by a vote of gratitude from Anusha Mallya.
