Annual Day 2025-26

The Besant English Medium School celebrated its Annual Day on December 4th with great pomp and splendour in the auditorium of Besant Women’s College. The school correspondent, Dr. Manel Arjun Nayak, warmly welcomed all the dignitaries, guests, parents, and students.

The chief guest, Shri M. Panduranga Bhat, Treasurer of the Women’s National Education Society, distributed prizes to the achievers. In his address, he highlighted the school’s significant contribution to the all-round development of students, inspired by the ideals of Gurudev Bhava, guiding them on the path of discipline, values, and excellence. The president of the Women’s National Education Society, Shri Manel Annappa Nayak, also addressed the gathering. He emphasized that the school plays a vital role in shaping the holistic growth of children and encouraged students to make full use of the opportunities provided.

On this occasion, the school’s headmistress Mrs. Lavina Albert, the President of the Parents–Teachers Association Mr. Girish Kumar, the Advisor of the Women’s National Education Society Mrs. Sonali Mallya, and the student leaders including Nitika, graced the stage. The programme was effectively compered by Priyadarshini and Lakshya. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vaishnavi, who expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to making the event a grand success.

This was followed by a colourful and vibrant cultural programme presented by the students. The entertainment segment was coordinated by Kumari Nidhi and Nandini. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
